Let’s take a look at current planetary influences through the lens of repetition.
From March 2025 to May 2026, Saturn and Neptune are in conjunction in the sign of Aries. Then, starting in September, they move into Pisces, and from January to May 2026 — back to Aries.
The last time these two planets met was in Capricorn — where Saturn is at its strongest and Neptune is at its weakest. That time, structures, systems, and authority were changing — but they didn’t collapse completely.
That conjunction lasted throughout 1989 and January 1990.
Here’s a list of what happened back then — and we’ll return to the present afterward:
The Berlin Wall was torn down; East Germans were able to cross into the West.
In Beijing, student protests were brutally suppressed — hundreds, maybe thousands were killed.
In Poland, the opposition won, marking the beginning of the end of communism.
In the USSR, inflation hit hard — wages couldn’t buy basic food, and ration cards were introduced.
The Redoubt volcano (Alaska) erupted — causing $160 million in damages;
An earthquake in San Francisco caused deaths and $6 billion in destruction.
The World Wide Web was born.
In 1989, the first antiretroviral drug Dideoxyinosine (ddI) was approved as an alternative to AZT — a key step in combination therapy and saving millions of lives.
NASA launched the COBE telescope — it studied the cosmic microwave background, later confirming the Big Bang and earning a Nobel Prize.
The Soviet Phobos-2 interplanetary mission reached Mars and successfully transmitted data about its moon, Phobos.
In Guatemala, archaeologists discovered a lunar Mayan calendar in Copán with rare astronomical symbols confirming their cyclical understanding of time.
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the 14th Dalai Lama for his nonviolent struggle for the liberation of Tibet — a global symbol of peace and human rights.
Let’s move forward.
We all see what’s happening in the world today — no need to list it.
Both Saturn and Neptune are weak in Aries, and they’re showing their darker sides. As a result, global chaos and the erosion of boundaries — from personal to political — are ruling the stage.
Yet both planets also have incredible gifts:
Saturn brings order, respect, responsibility, structure, and stability.
Neptune inspires faith in the divine, universal love, the power of prayer, intuition, foresight, healing, and creativity — music, film, painting, even animation.
It’s important to understand:
Each of us can consciously embody these higher qualities, even while the planets themselves are not “at home” — that is, not in signs where they shine and support humanity most clearly.
The key principle for this period: don’t rush.
Make decisions slowly, mindfully, and only after time and reflection. Because Neptune is elusive — and when we follow illusions, we often end up disappointed.
Now, pay close attention:
It’s crucial to know which area of your birth chart this conjunction activates — that’s where the waters may start to stir, and where you’ll need structure, patience, and inner clarity.
And if you have planets in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, this influence may feel especially intense and sensitive.
But make no mistake — no one will remain untouched.
For example, I have my Sun in early Aries, and I’m feeling these transits in every area of my life:
health, money, immigration laws, education, spiritual growth — everything is intensified.
I’m deeply grateful to astrology as a tool that literally helps me stay grounded and move forward.
